The mission of the Bos Landen Open is to provide a high quality venue and tournament for professional and amateur golfers in the state of Iowa. We also sincerely believe that the Bos Landen Open will continue to be a positive community event that promotes tourism in the historic Pella community. With the support and assistance of our sponsors, we will present a very professionally run golf tournament that will continue to draw professional and amateur golfers from all over the Midwest.
As the opening tournament of the “Iowa Grand Slam of Golf”, followed by the Waterloo Open and the Greater Cedar Rapids Open in 2008, the Bos Landen Open is very well positioned to attract the top level professional and amateur golfers! The projected purse for the 2008 Bos Landen Open is $50,000, with the professionals vying for the $12,000 first place check!
In addition to the very exciting Bos Landen Open tournament that will be held July 11-13, 2007 at the Bos Landen Golf Resort, there will be a fun-filled “Pro-Sponsor” golf tournament and an evening social on July 10, 2007. This is an excellent opportunity for the generous sponsors of the Bos Landen Open to both play a round golf as well as socialize with a future superstar of the PGA Tour.
